Terms of Service

Rhyver is a product of RentEase Services Limited (RC-9513604). We provide two services: (a) tenant verification and certification via Rhyver Verify, and (b) flexible rent coordination via Rhyver Flex. By using any Rhyver service, you agree to these terms.

The Rhyver Verify fee is non-refundable once the verification process has commenced. Rhyver does not guarantee approval or a specific certificate tier; outcomes are based on the information verified. Your certificate is issued to you personally and is portable across the Rhyver landlord network.

Rhyver Flex is a property coordination and lease arrangement, not a lending product. Rhyver enters into a lease agreement with your landlord and pays the full annual rent on your behalf. You then make rent payments to Rhyver on a schedule agreed and signed before your move-in date.

This service is governed by landlord-tenant law. Rhyver is not a money lender and does not operate under the FCCPC digital lending framework.

A coordination fee of 20% applies to the portion of rent that Rhyver covers on your behalf. This fee is disclosed in full during the application process, before you commit to any plan. No fees are charged that were not disclosed upfront.

You are obligated to make your rent payments to Rhyver on the agreed schedule. Missed or late payments may result in a notice to vacate the property in accordance with the terms of your rent agreement and applicable Nigerian landlord-tenant law.

To use Rhyver Flex, you must have a valid Rhyver Verification Certificate. Access to specific payment tiers (including the 0% initial payment plan) is at Rhyver's sole discretion based on your verified profile.

Rhyver is not liable for any loss arising from delays, inaccuracies in third-party verification data, or actions of landlords in the network. Our total liability in any circumstance shall not exceed the amount paid by you to Rhyver in the relevant transaction.

To request deletion of your data, email hello@rhyver.com.ng with your full name, your phone number used during registration, and the subject line "Data Deletion Request." We will process your request within 14 working days and confirm deletion by email.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal data, including encrypted data transmission and access controls limited to authorized personnel. Regular security reviews are conducted to maintain the integrity of our systems.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the intake form before you submit. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be resolved under Nigerian jurisdiction.
