Rhyver is a consumer brand of RentEase Services Limited (RC-9513604), a company registered in Nigeria and based in Aba, Abia State. We operate a tenant verification service (Rhyver Verify) and a flexible rent coordination service (Rhyver Flex). References to "Rhyver", "we", "us", or "our" refer to RentEase Services Limited.

This Policy governs your use of the Rhyver intake forms and the verification and rent-coordination process. By checking the consent box and submitting your application, you agree to this Policy.
When you use Rhyver Verify or apply for a flexible rent plan, we collect:
Your data is used exclusively to: verify your identity and employment against government-issued records, assess your suitability as a tenant, generate your Rhyver Verification Certificate, facilitate a lease agreement with your landlord, detect and flag potential identity fraud, and communicate with you about your application.
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR) 2019, we process your data on the basis of your freely given, specific, informed, and unambiguous consent, which you provide by checking the consent box on the intake form. You may withdraw consent at any time, though this may affect our ability to complete your verification or rent application.
Your verification report is shared with the landlord or agent who commissioned your screening, and with Rhyver staff for quality review and fraud detection. We will not sell, share, or disclose your data to any other third party except as required by Nigerian law, a valid court order, or with your explicit consent.
Our identity verification partners process your BVN/NIN and facial data under their own data processing agreements. Payments are processed by Paystack, a licensed Nigerian payment processor. We do not store your card or bank details on our servers.
Upon successful verification, a digital tenant profile may be generated and linked to a QR code. This profile is PIN-protected and can only be accessed by someone who has both the QR code and the PIN you choose to share. You are in full control of who you share your PIN with. Rhyver staff cannot share your profile with any party without your consent.
Verification case records are retained for 3 years from the date of submission. Rent coordination records are retained for the duration of the lease agreement plus 12 months. After the relevant period, your data is deleted from our active database. You may request earlier deletion; see Section 10.

To request deletion of your data, email hello@rhyver.com.ng with your full name, the phone number used during registration, and the subject line "Data Deletion Request." We will process your request within 14 working days and confirm deletion by email.
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal data, including encrypted data transmission and access controls limited to authorized personnel. Regular security reviews are conducted to maintain the integrity of our systems.
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the intake form before you submit. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
This Policy is governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be resolved under Nigerian jurisdiction.
